A Workshop: The Urgent Case for Defashion

Want to learn more about why we think defashion is necessary? Interested in becoming a member of Fashion Act Now? Want to participate in an experimental and creative workshop visioning the future of fashion? 

The fashion industry needs to downscale by at least 75% but talk of growth is still ubiquitous. We need a crisis response to degrowth the industry. 

In this workshop, we'll be covering: the climate and ecological emergency and its root causes; whether the fashion industry is doing enough to mitigate the crisis; what we vision as the future for fashion; how we make that future a reality; and lastly, how to get involved in Fashion Act Now. This is an interactive workshop so you'll be giving your views, listening to other participants, as well as hearing from Fashion Act Now spokespeople. We hope you leave more knowledgeable about fashion and justice and empowered to take action.
